Active Fakenham is excited to bring outside exercise to Fakenham Town centre in the newly renovated Community Centre Garden. Low cost and suitable for beginners and improvers these classes will run through the summer
All classes will take place in the Courtyard Garden

Research shows that exercising outdoors can lower stress, improve mood, enhance focus, and even boost immune function. With that in mind, this class will be a mix of movement, strength, and relaxation, all designed to leave people feeling energised and refreshed.

🌿 Get Fit with Outdoor Fitness Pilates for Beginners! 🌿

Join us for fitness Pilates in a lovely secluded courtyard, where the fresh air will enhance your workout experience.
Classes take place every Wednesday at 10a.m -10:50 from May to August, giving you the opportunity to gently improve your strength, flexibility, and posture.

🧘Class Structure:
Designed specifically for beginners, each session begins with a gentle warm-up, focusing on mobilisation, posture and breath work to prepare your body and mind. We then move into standing balance exercises, helping to improve stability and coordination.
The class continues with an all-over body strength and flexibility section using a mixture of resistance bands and mini balls, targeting key muscle groups and promoting overall body balance. We conclude with relaxation and a guided meditation, allowing you to unwind and switch off.

🌿 The Outdoor Well-being Workout 🌿
Maria Fenn
A class designed to boost both physical and mental health by training in fresh air and natural light.
- Gentle Warm-Up Flow: Start by mobilizing your joints and waking up your body with gentle movements.
- Pulse-Raiser: Engage in light movements to get your heart rate up. This part is suitable for all abilities and disabilities.
- Resistance Training: Use resistance bands for strength exercises. All exercises can be adapted for seated or standing positions, with chairs available for balance.
- Cool-Down & Breath Work: Finish with stretching and mindful breathing to help restore and reset your body and mind.
Thursday mornings from May, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a drop-in price of £7.
No classes during in half-term breaks.
