Over the years Active Fakenham has acquired a range of resources which we can sometimes lend to other local groups and individuals. We are not a hire company, and these are generally used by local community groups that we work with, and which help us out. Our ethos is that local groups working together and supporting each other helps build a better community. Please note we have no staff and no admin support so there may be delays if you contact us.
Currently these resources include
- Smoothie Bikes
- A good quality gas barbecue
- Various push bikes including a women’s and a man’s road bike, an electric bike and a hybrid bike.
- Small ducks for duck races (we have around 1500 we lend out)
- Some high quality heavy duty gazebos
- Pickleball equipment. Paddles, nets and balls. These are currently available for use at the Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre
Free Display opportunities
We have established sources for free publicity for local groups the Fakenham Info Hub which includes community notice boards and a TV screen in the shop window. There is also a community notice board at the Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre and one in the town centre market place.
Social Media
We have various social media accounts. If you tag Active Fakenham we will generally share local events and activities.
